Fettercairn 30 y.o (1966-1996)

This is another dram I was fortunate enough to sample. NOSE: smoky pickled veggies (cucumbers in particular). Vanilla, very delicate, very nuanced. Dry woody nose with fresh fruits underneath those pickles. With time these pickles completely disappear, giving way to floral notes, spices, some strawberry jam, honey dried fruit and shortbread....
